The following photos were shot with my Canon AE 1 Program within Indonesia over the past year. It’s a heavy camera that I don’t take everywhere and developing film is virtually impossible now. I love using the camera for street photography and for close ups of people. It has produced some of my favorite images of the places I’ve been, showcasing a certain depth and warmth unparalleled by digital. The greatest part is that so many locals would light up if I asked to take a picture; no one shied away and they were more than willing and happy to pose or smile…or both. Some people even came after me, eagerly asking for one or two more. Their kind hearted demeanor shows.
Enjoy.

Film shots are amazing. They give you the nostalgia of the younger years with an ultramodern feel. You did great here
Thanks so much, Elmer. Shooting in Indonesia was a pleasure.
